We left Levanto before 09.00 heading for Avignon. The route was bringing us via Genoa, where the GPS played serious havoc with us, bringing us through the smallest streets and even in to the port. We also had an interesting encounter with an Italian gentleman, who refused to move his car, so we could pass. Passed 40+ tunnels enroute to Genova at the cost of €10 while the rest of the way to the French border we went through 90+ tunnels at €30. Arrived in Avignon 17.30. Had a good bottle of wine and dinner with the Maard's
